Queens University of Charlotte President Pamela Davies has announced she will be stepping down as the school president following the 2018-2019 academic year. Davies has been the president of Queens for the last 16 years.
She will remain in her position until June 30, 2019, when a successor will take her place.
She will return to Queens following a sabbatical year focused on research and writing. Rather than return as president, she will instead return as a faculty member serving the McColl School of Business as a professor.
She will work with the Board of Trustees to find the school a new president to follow in her footsteps.
More of the story can be found in a news release from the university.
