Queens students Roni Epstein, Ashli White and Alyssa Pacheco prepare in First Ward Park to participate in the Jan. 21 women’s march in Charlotte.

“Martin Luther King, Jr. once said that injustice anywhere is a threat to justice everywhere,” White said. “I chose to march in order to peacefully bring awareness to the injustice happening here in the United States.”
