“I have Dr. Steven Cox as my Marketing Research [professor]. In France we have like 50 people in one class; the teachers just grade the paper and are not very interactive with the students. Here we are 20-25 [students per class, so the] professor expects you to participate a lot. They want to know you; they want to know your name. In France you just raise your hand and respond; the teacher doesn’t know who you are, not like here. We first met Dr. Steven Cox in Strasbourg, he gave us a lot of information about Queens and helped us choose our courses. He invited us to a restaurant in Strasbourg, and when we got here, we were invited to eat at his house. That do not happen in France!”

“Dr. Whalen because the way his class is conducted everything flows and it makes sense. We always have discussions, and he always gets everyone’s input. ”

“I’m in nursing school, so probably Dr. Schoolmester. I like her because she makes class fun all the time. Class is at 8 a.m., and she just always puts the students [up] to it to wake up and have fun and have class.”
Annie King thinks that Professor Ghandour’s real-life experience makes him such a good teacher.

“[Bilal Ghandour] has a good personality, and he has a lot to offer because he’s also a psychologist. More so than just being able to teach it, he has stories.”
