New SGA Senate votes to continue with campus improvements

This year’s Student Government Association Senate transferred power to newly elected senators during its regular weekly meeting on April 1¬†in Claudia Belk Dining Hall.

Senators confirmed plans to continue making improvements to campus. In this meeting, they approved a picnic and a brick grill area for the Levine Center and outdoor Wi-Fi for South lawn and Trexler courtyard. They also agreed to make a contribution to cover the repairs to the Levine Center’s ¬†aerobic room sound system.

Next week, the Senate will vote on movable grills, a locked bookshelf and mount for Levine Center student lounge and installing a RedBox.
