How do students feel about the Levine Center?

Queens has made an effort to reach out to the student body by using various marketing strategies like posters and RexText.  To get a further understanding of how students feel about the new edition to campus, I gathered some opinions from various students.

Hayley Wilson, Sophomore:

Hometown: Chapel Hill, NC

Major: Psychology

“I think the Levine Center brings our school community closer together, especially during basketball and volleyball games.  It has given Queens a new home for spirit and excitement.”

Alex Bruder, Freshmen:

Hometown: Ocean City, MD

Major: Business

“I love the new workout facilities at the Levine Center and I think it helps bring Queen’s students together.  I love how convenient it is to watch some of the athletic teams play on campus.”

Kelly Dowd, Freshmen:

Hometown: Stony Point, NY

Major: Interior Design

“I think the Levine Center is really nice and clean, and an overall good environment to do my homework in.  Einstein bagels is one of my favorite places to eat on campus.”

Andy Wolf, Senior

Hometown: Baltimore, MD

Major: Business

“I like the change and upgrade from the old workout facility to the new one, there is a lot more space.  The Levine Center atmosphere is better for games and I think it gets students more excited.  I also really love the new Einstein Bagel shop.”

Yannick Fischbach, Senior

Hometown: Greenville, SC

Major: Business

“I think the Levine Center is a great addition to the Queens community.  It offers state of the art equipment and is much better than the previous gyms we have had.  It is a good place to study, hangout, and do homework.  The modern design fits really well with our campus and it has a good ambiance.”
